WBO #1 Hart KOs Hernandez in three

Undefeated WBO #1 super middleweight Jesse Hart (21-0, 17 KOs) of Philadelphia scored a third round knockout over Andrew Hernandez (15-5-1, 6 KOs) of Phoenix in a scheduled eight round bout. A left hook by Hart sent Hernandez to the canvas in the opening. Hernandez got up and finished the round. However, in round three a barrage of punches by Hart forced referee Robert Byrd to stop the fight at 1:59. Hart is also rated IBF #6 and WBA #12 in the world at 168 lbs.

Undefeated welterweight Alex Saucedo (23-0, 14 KOs) won a hard-fought unanimous decision over Raymond Serrano (21-4, 9 KOs). Saucedo came out strong in the opening round as he landed solidly on Serrano. In the closing seconds of round two, Saucedo dropped Serrano with a solid straight right but Serrano continued to fight on. The Oklahoma fighter Saucedo pressed much of the fight, Serrano held his own putting up a fight as both fighters finished strong. In the end, the judges scored it 77-74, 77-74, and 76-75 as Saucedo pulls off the decision.

In the opening bout from the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, unbeaten light heavyweight Steven Nelson (4-0, 4 KOs) of Omaha, Nebraska scored a devastating fourth round knockout over Reyes Diaz (5-1, 5 KOs) of Denver in a scheduled four round bout. Nelson dropped Diaz multiple times as the referee finally waved it at 1:34 of round four.
