WORLD BOXING COUNCIL VICE PRESIDENT PRESENTS GHANA`S PRESIDENT WITH WBC MINI BELT

World Boxing Council Vice President Houcine Houichi presenting a cherished  green and gold WBC mini belt belt to the  State President of the Republic of Ghana, his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, during the boxing event at the Bukom Boxing Arena of Ghana.
A WBC triple header was promoted by Michael Amoo Bediako of Streetwise promotions and Jacob Zwennes of Errol Hawk Sports management specifically and especially to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the independence of Ghana. And as it was such a unique occasion, and superb sporting celebration to honor it,  the President himself was ringside.

Also right there was ex President Jerry Rawlings,  Sports Minister Isaac Asimah,  as well as ex Champions and legends: Azumah Nelson, Ike Quartey and Alfred Kotey.
Against this incredible backdrop of political and sporting might, in the main event Richard Commey won a unanimous decision against Hedi Slimani by scores of 116-112, 116-112 and 117-111 to claim the vacant WBC International Silver lightweight title.

On the undercard prospect Duke Micah stopped valiant Mexican Jonathan Aguilar in 8 rounds. The visitor did not come out for round 9 due to a left arm injury. Micah won the vacant WBC International bantamweight title.

In a 3rd WBC International fight saw Frederick Lawson win a majority decision against Sakami Mullings from Jamaica. At stake was the vacant WBC International Silver welterweight title.
