With its super middleweight and cruiserweight tournaments wrapping up, the World Boxing Super Series has its sights set on another pair of tournaments. ESPN reports that the organizers are poised to announce bantamweight and super lightweight tournaments, each with multiple candidates already lined up.

The 140-pound tournament will likely include Regis Prograis and a pair of previously ordered bouts, Kiryl Relikh vs. Eduard Troyanovsky and Ivan Baranchyk vs. Anthony Yigit, in the quarterfinals. Bantamweight, meanwhile, features world champions Ryan Burnett, Zolani Tete, and Emmanuel Rodriguez.

One would hope that the winner of Naoya Inoue vs. Jamie McDonnell will participate as well.

There’s a generally reliable Twitter page claiming that there will be a press conference tomorrow announcing everything, but I can’t find an original source, so take that with a grain of salt.

Any particular faces you expect/would like to see fill the other three super lightweight and five bantamweight slots?
