Jade Bornea Ready for Unbeaten Delgadillo in US Headliner

Undefeated Filipino super flyweight sensation Jade “Hurricane” Bornea (14-0, 10 KO’s) of Arakan, Cotabato del Norte, will be headlining in the US as he battles undefeated Mexican-American Ernesto Delgadillo (11-0-2, 2 KO’s) of Dallas, Texas, in a UFC Fightpass event on January 30 at Legends Casino and Hotel in Toppenish, Washington State, USA.

The Bornea vs Delgadillo — a ten-rounder clash of undefeated fighters — is valid for the vacant WBC NABF (North American Boxing Federation) Super Flyweight Title.

Bornea, 24, has been on a knockout winning streak in his last three fights while Delgadillo has been dominating opponents via decision wins.

Thus, the battle of Bornea and Delgadillo will most likely be the one of an aggressive boxer versus a tactician fighter.

The promising Bornea of the Sanman stable is wrapping up his training camp at the Wild Gym in LA under the tutelage of head coach Rodel Mayol and trainer Stanley Godinez.

Bornea is so excited to headline in a US event. “This is my biggest fight so far. I am excited and happy to show the world what I got. It has been a wonderful training camp at the Wild Card Gym.

“I have sparred with quality opponents and am ready to fight a fellow undefeated fighter. I am very determined to win this and face greater opponents,” Bornea stated.
