LOMA VS TEOFIMO WOULD BE AWESOME

Bob Arum — whose Top Rank company promotes both “Loma” Vasily Lomachenko (R) and Teofimo Lopez, revealed over the weekend that he’d like to stage LOMA VS TEOFIMO probably in April 2020, likely at the MSG.

To that exciting possibility, Loma, 31, quickly replied:

“Yes, of course! We want to [fight Teofimo to unify] all four titles.”

Loma (14-1, 10 KOs) is the reigning WBA, WBO and WBC (Franchise) Lightweight World Champion, while Teofimo Lopez (15-0, 12 KO’s) is the newly crowned IBF champion.

“Now Teofimo is the world champion,” added Loma. “Now Teofimo Lopez is interesting to me. Because he has the title.”

Meanwhile, Teofimo, 22, reiterated in the ESPN after fight interview:

“You all know who I want.”

Boxing fans can’t wait for Loma vs Teofimo. It would be awesome
