By Carlos Costa

🇺🇸 Terence “Bud” Crawford (35-0, 26 KO’s) defends his WBO welterweight world title against unbeaten Lithuanian challenger 🇱🇹 Egidijus “Mean Machine” Kavaliauskas (21-0-1, 17 KO’s) this Saturday at New York’s Madison Square Garden live on ESPN👍

“He’s young, hungry and I’m not taking him lightly,” said Crawford of “Mean Machine” Kavaliauskas.

The 32-year-old Crawford aims at defeating Kavaliauskas and immediately moving up to 160.

Arum has already said that he would like Canelo vs Crawford at middleweights. Will Canelo vs Crawford ever happen? 👍

That remains to be seen. For now, the “Mean Machine” is here for the fight of his life: 🥊

“Crawford was on my mind from the start of training camp in June. Every day was Crawford, Crawford, Crawford. My mindset is good.

“Going straight ahead to Crawford is not an option because he’s too smart and he showed in his last fight that he is smart in the ring. So, we’ll work on my combinations. We don’t want to go very wild at him.”
