WBA Board of Directors Meeting Begins in Medellin, Colombia; Hands of Stone Roberto Duran is Special Guest

The WBA Board of Directors began its 2-day assembly in the beautiful City of Medellín, Colombia, led by WBA president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza of Venezuela.

During their time in Medellin, the board will review reports from various of its committees, including reports from the treasury committee, world rankings and championships, among others.

In addition, the WBA directors hear reports from regional organizations affiliated to the WBA.

Those regional bodies are WBA Europe, WBA OCEANIA, WBA NABA, WBA FEDELATIN, WBA Female Boxing and WBA Intercontinental.

Matters discussed during the meeting include current affairs, plans and projections for the future of the WBA.
