The World Boxing Council created the “Heroes of Humanity” awards to recognize all those who have bravely faced the Covid-19 pandemic, in many cases risking their own lives to help and protect others.
This week we present our latest “Heroes of Humanity”:
NOMINEE | ACTIVITY | COUNTRY |
LUZ CASTILLO “LULA” RAMIREZ | ACTIVISM | CHILE |
SALVADOR BRIMAN | ACTIVISM | MEXICO |
ABDEL RAHMAN MOSTAFA | ACTIVISM | EGYPT |
BRUCE MCTAVISH | ACTIVISM | PHILIPINES |

The “Heroes of Humanity” program is coming to an end today, for which we want to thank all those involved in this great campaign showing selfless courage.
We are very proud of the large number of “Heroes of Humanity” that we have recognized, as this publically recognizes benevolent acts, the very bedrock which keeps us united fighting this pandemic.
Thank you for being part of this great campaign of courage.
