Méndez 104.75, Mendoza 105 for WBO World Title in Panama

Puerto Rican WBO Minimumweight World Champion Wilfredo Méndez and Colombian challenger WBO # 15 Gabriel Mendoza successfuly made weight for their title battle tomorrow at the Hotel El Panama in Panama City, Panama.

Méndez (15-1, 5 KO’s), who defends his belt for a second time, weighed in at 104.75 pounds while the veteran Mendoza (30-6-2, 23 KO’s) tipped the scale at 105 lbs.

The Puerto Rican comes from defending belt last October with technical decision victory over Mexican 🇲🇽 Axel Aragón.

Mendez claimed his WBO minimumweight world title by decisioning Filipino 🇵🇭 Vic Saludar in August of last year.
