Next Monday Tomoki Kameda (35-2, 20 KOs) will face Dominican Abigail “Bebé” Medina (19-3-2, 10 KOs) for the interim super bantam title of the World Boxing Council.
Both fighters beat the medical examinations Japan is requesting without problems.
It should be noted that Kameda has a World Cup experience, after being a rooster champion, while this will be Medina’s first world title fight, as well as his first fight in Japan.
The fight will be broadcast on the platform Abema TV (a Japanese internet company) in what will be a historic event, since it is the first time that a world boxing championship in Japan will be broadcast exclusively live over the internet.
