DAVAO CITY — Reigning Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) minimumweight champion Lito “Naruto” Dante of Bohol will fight against Sulis Barrera of Indonesia on Feb. 8 at Saint Louis College in San Fernando City.
The 29-year old orthodox Dante (16W-11L-4D, 8KO) grabbed the OPBF minimumweight title from Tsubasa Koura of Japan by a TKO in the 12th round last March 31 in Kanagawa, Japan.
David, however, lost to Yudai Shigeoka by a unanimous decision in a non-title fight last Dec. 10 in Korakuen Hall in Japan.
Barrera (4W-7L), on the other hand, last fought was against Fushoeka Erana by a UD last Nov. 16 in Indonesia.
The 30-year old Barrera, however, earlier lost Adam Wijaya by a UD last Nov. 10 in Jakarta.
